Belle Vale
Merseyside Fire Authority

Belle Vale Community Fire Station, built for Merseyside Fire Authority was built as part of the North West Fire and Rescue Service PFI, a project delivering sixteen new community fire stations across nine Local Authorities, involving three separate Fire Services: Lancashire, Cumbria and Merseyside. This was the biggest project of its type in the country.

The building is situated on a busy main road, and forms an integral part of the community. The palette of materials, consistent and unifying across the stations is black and white brickwork set as a backdrop to vibrant red steel cladding and black steel to the appliance bays.
