Fleetwood Community Fire Station, built for Lancashire Fire Authority has a 3 bay appliance garage and community facilities and a Separate Day crew accommodations block comprising of rest rooms and recreational rooms.

The building is situated on a very tight site and on a floodplain and consequently flood residual measures to be accommodated.

The scheme has been built as part of the North West Fire and Rescue Service PFI, a project delivering sixteen new community fire stations across nine Local Authorities, involving three separate Fire Services: Lancashire, Cumbria and Merseyside. This was the biggest project of its type in the country.
