The Practice was appointed to produce the Master Plan for the redevelopment of St Andrews Stadium, and a phased development was proposed.
Completed at a cost of 6 million, the first phase of the new St Andrews Stadium provided a seating capacity for 17,000 and followed the natural ampi-theatre of the original ground.
Included within the envelope are a full range of executive boxes and hospitality suites together with the main Boardroom facilities for the club. The scheme illustrated represents the first phases in the planned redevelopment of the St Andrews Ground which accommodates seating for approximately 40,000 spectators.
Phase two of the St Andrews redevelopment providing a new 8,000 seat City Stand at the railway provides segregated accommodation for the Home and Away support. The final phase which replaced the old main stand, completes the horseshoe layout.
